Come Let Us Roast Our Good Friend Arlee The Bird!!! (CHEERS!!!)

Come Let Us Roast Our Good Friend Arlee The Bird!!! He Is Ready!!!

Lee the juggler did wonders not only with his magic tricks but also did miracles with his jumping or throwing words. Indeed his activities in his page at “Tossing It Out” and other places he knitted a beautiful net/circle.Especially when it comes to the A to Z event he created an amazing atmosphere with the like-minded people from around the world with his magic words.  That was indeed an inspiration to many in the World Wide Web.  I am so glad to jump in when I first heard of this, and was so sad since, I could not join in him from its inception.

That one event itself is proof enough to show his love with the words as well as to spread those among the like-minded people around the world.

Arlee's fb profile pic.
I am sure those who participated in those
wonderful events will have the same opinion. The allotted 200 words are not sufficient to explain it further.  So I am putting a small coma here.  Let us join together this day and roast (cheer) our dear friend and the wonderful juggler Arlee The BIRD.

5 Things You Can Do to Prepare for the A – Z Challenge (A Guest Post By M J Joachim)

5 Things You Can Do to Prepare for the

forthcoming A – Z Challenge

A to Z Blog Challenge for 2013 is getting geared up and many are seriously thinking about the challenge.  Some people might be a little confused regarding how to enter, what to write, how to post, etc.

Guest Author M. J. Joachim presents 5 important tips to go ahead with the April Challenge.  I am sure these tips will definitely encourage and give more information to get into the challenge.

If you are not yet registered for this years challenge, there is still time to join by visiting the A to Z Official blog sign up list

Thank you, Phil, for inviting me to write a guest post for your blog today. It is with great pleasure that I share a few things I’m doing, to make preparing for the A – Z 2013 Challenge a little bit easier this year.

There are lots of things you can do to make preparing for the A – Z Challenge easier. Here is a brief list to get you started. If you have some ideas of your own, please don’t hesitate to share them in the comments, so we all can benefit from each other.

Pre-type your blogging labels. Whether you are following a theme or not, preparing your labels ahead of time makes things easier. Begin with these obvious labels: A – Z Challenge 2013, Letter _, blogging challenge, blog hop. Then add your own labels, which are specific to your post.

Prepare alphabet pictures for each of your posts. Whether you are downloading them from the web or making them yourself, creating a file on your desktop, filled with letters from A – Z will come in very handy when you want to promote your challenge. Using these in place of pictures in your posts adds clarity for visitors during the A – Z Challenge, as well.

Prepare your signature for your posts ahead of time. Include a link to Blogging from A – Z, since they are the ones hosting the Challenge. Then, just like you did with labels, copy and paste it in place.

Put the Letter of the Day at the beginning of your title, to make it easier for everyone concerned. This makes it easier on you, especially if your posts are in draft mode, waiting to be published, and it makes it easier on visitors jumping from blog to blog, trying to keep up with this phenomenal challenge and all of its participants.

Be thoughtful about your posts and take this challenge seriously. You’re going to have a lot of new visitors to your blog. You have no idea who some of those visitors might be. Step up to the plate and hit a home-run. This is your time to sling-shot your blog, way out into cyberspace! Make it count! You’ll be very glad you did!

Thank you again for allowing me to share some pointers for participating in the A – Z Challenge on your blog, Phil. It’s a true pleasure to be able to do so.

A Post in Advance For The A to Z Blog Challenge 2013 - Few Things About The Wonderful Word 'Awesome'

This Year’s A to Z April Blog Challenge is indeed a great challenge to me!!!

A to Z Blog Challenge
You may ask, "Why?

Right,

That’s indeed a good question!

To begin with, I must confess that the challenge last year was really not a success for me.

You may ask again, "Why?

Ok, due to some unforeseen travel towards my native land I could not reach the finish line and midway it ended.

But this year’s challenge I am sure that I will reach the finish line.

As enough time is available in advance to prepare the post as well as to visit the fellow bloggers, I started browsing more and more blogs mainly connected with this challenge. Since I am now on board with the Co-host Tina Downey’s Life is Good, that is Tina’s  Terrific Team (TTT).  I mean the new assignments at T T T    I am prompted to visit more and more pages at A to Z Blog pages.

As I was thinking of this year’s alphabet many things flashed in my mind, but browsing through many posts and comments from A to Z Challenge I have noticed one particular thing which I wanted to make known to my fellow bloggers and friends.

Let me come to the point where I want to write on:
The A - Z challenge’s first word “A”, I thought I will write about the word “Awesome”.

There is a reason to select this word as my first post.

I have noticed many of my beloved friends here at this great web world very liberally use this word "Awesome” for anything and everything, to appreciate some posts or writers or some wonderful or marvelous things happening around us. This liberal usage of the word I noticed in many posts even at A to Z Posts and comments I thought I need not wait for April first and thus this post today.

As many of you know that I am a foreigner to this wonderful language called English. And ha, my mother tongue is Malayalam a South Indian language. Though I am not an English expert, a doubt raised in my mind:

Can we use this wonderful word “Awesome” with anything and everything?

As far as I know and my understanding goes:

This word can only be used with the ‘Word of God’ and the ‘God Almighty’.

This is my belief. I am sure a few may get offended, so will you please respond to my doubt and give me some light on this.

Thanks in advance for dropping in.

With Kind Regards

And Best Wishes for a Happy Blogging.

Philip Ariel
